Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month
Every June since 2008, people from across the UK have celebrated Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month (GRTHM).
Through celebration, education and raising awareness, Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month helps to tackle prejudice, change the story, and amplify the voices of Gypsies, Roma and Travellers in wider society.
Here you can find all of the different resources we've put together over the years to help organisations, schools and individuals get involved and celebrate GRTHM.
Our theme for 2025 is Gypsy, Roma and Traveller 'Heroes' Month: "Who inspires you?", and looks to celebrate inspirational Romany Gypsy, Roma, Irish Traveller, New Traveller Showmen, and Liveaboard Boater people!
You can find this year's resources below, designed to help you mark and raise awareness of GRTHM in the classroom, at work or online.
