The 2004 report by Sheffield University which found that accepted that life expectancy of Gypsies and Travellers was between 10 and 12 years less than the rest of the population, although it has now been accepted by the DoH that this figure is likely to be nearer to 20 years less than the life expectancy for the rest of the population.
