We are always looking for new ways to become more sustainable as a charity and to diversify our income streams. As part of this, we are looking for someone with experience in marketing and communications to become a Business Mentor here at Friends, Families and Travellers. If you are looking for opportunities to use your business acumen for social good, why not join us in helping Gypsies and Travellers to get a fair deal? If you are interested in this voluntary position, please send an email to email@example.com and a member of our management team will be in touch with you shortly.
We are currently recruiting a new intern who will be based at our office in Brighton, and be able to attend relevant events in the South East. The post is for 14 or 16 hours per week.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to:
* Develop new or existing skills after discussion with your mentor.
* Develop FFT’s work to improve young people’s voices both within and outside the organisation.
Details can be found in the application pack which can be downloaded below, or sent out to you.
Please phone 01273 234803 to find out more.
Getting more involved in our work. Would you like to be a Trustee of FFT?
Our Board of Trustees is looking to expand the Board by recruiting at least two additional Trustees. In particular we are seeking to appoint a new Trustee with a background in finance or financial management. We also welcome interest from members of the Romany Gypsy and Irish Traveller communities.
Becoming a Trustee is an unpaid, voluntary position but you would be expected to attend a minimum of four meetings per annum in Brighton. These are held on a Saturday afternoon and last approximately 2 – 3 hours. Travel and subsistence expenses to cover your reasonable costs will be paid.
If you are interested in applying for this role then please contact our Director, Chris Whitwell at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01273 234772.
