Friends, Families and Travellers: Helping Travellers get a fair deal

We are a charity who seek to end racism and discrimination against Gypsies, Travellers and Roma, whatever their ethnicity, culture or background, whether settled or mobile, and to protect the right to pursue a nomadic way of life.

We work on campaigning, case work, and capacity building to help Gypsy and Traveller groups help themselves and mainstream organisations to work better with Gypsies and Travellers. Read more »

Registering for a GP Surgery

You do not need address ID in order to register with a GP. Gypsies and Travellers have the same rights to access healthcare as every other citizen. This letter from the Secretary of State for Health clearly states that being unable to provide ID is not grounds for refusing to register you. You can download and print this letter and take it with you.
