TravellerSpace
TravellerSpace is an independent organisation supporting Gypsies and Travellers in Cornwall.
What we do:
- Provide art and creative play sessions on sites using our play bus.
- Help Gypsies and Travellers access education, health and welfare services through sign posting, advocacy and information.
- Give practical by hospital appointments, opening bank accounts, needing a c/o address or help with filling in forms etc. and distribute safety equipment on behalf of the Health Promotions Unit.
- Assist Gypsies and Travellers in getting their voices heard by policy makers and help make sure they have a say in decisions that affect them.
- Have a large lending library of children’s books and other Traveller related publications in partnership with Cornwall Library Service and Cornwall Traveller Education Support Services (Books on Wheels)
